...and I'm wondering why I didnt do this earlier! I just got XM, and I love the oldies channels - 50's on 5 & 60's on 6 (with the exception of the 50's pop on ch 5). Thoes channels, Soul Street, and Air America make this worth the $80 bucks it cost me to set it up. The only terrestrial radio I've listened to besides this is KB at night.

Now to figure out how to scrape up the 12 bucks a month to pay for it...<P ID="signature">______________

Welcome to the club! Satellite is where it's at for Oldies lovers. Be sure to catch Alex Ward's "Pink & Black Days" and Cool Bobby B's Doo Wop show, both on channel 5. See XM's website for programming times.

Unfortunately, you're right about that. And, actually, all this "disposable income" we often bring up about 60+ listeners and oldies die-hards lends itself to making the Satellite Radio investment.

Welcome to the "future" side. (thank god AA is on XM. But that should be an open channel in a year or so). I just signed up for Sirius and Channel 5 and Channel 6 are what we have been opining for on this list for years. Cousin Brucie on Saturday night, broadcasts from the Alan Freed Studio at the R&R Hall of Fame, good music selection, on-air-talent that actually understand what they are playing, no 12 min stop sets. We love our disposable income. Bye bye terrestial radio.
