I've stopped listening to WPHT

The main problem I have with them is Coast to Coast AM, they air it 5 nights, sometimes preempty it for random infomercials and west coast Phillies games. Last night John B Wells had a great show on Kennedy and I had to struggle to pull in WILM from Wilmington because WWVA, WBT and a few others I usually catch were non existent. This is a disgrace the way WPHT replaces it with those damn informercials. I contacted George Noory and told him about what is going on here, maybe he can have another local signal pick them up due to WPHT's non carry procedures, they must not know what is going on, I am sure they want their programs on 7 nights. I did contact WPHT with no response.
I agree with you, it is a total joke that 1210 is treating Coast to Coast AM this way. WPHT management should be ashamed of themselves to waste a 50,000 watt signal for infomercials, overnight on the weekends, instead of airing Coast to Coast for all hours of the show.

AFAIC Andy bloom who is the operations manager former PD Ed Palladino and other folks has ruined WPHT, beyond repair. Their inept programing decisions in the last 2 years and especially this year by hiring Dick Morris, bringing back Rush and Hannity (all of those moves that I don't agree with) is the reason why the station is in the toilet in the ratings right now and the reason why WWIQ went on the air and competed with WPHT until 106.9 got sold and changed format.

Jul, I think we all here get it. You hate WPHT. I also get how emotionally attached you are to the station, as it probably was the soundtrack of your life. Unfortunately, I didn't grow up in Philly, so I really haven't listened to the station like you have. I have my station I grew up with that has changed over the years, sometimes in drastic ways, and that I have become emotionally attached to. However, posting 10 posts about it really isn't going to change a thing. I think its time to move on, and not talk about it again.

I will not talk about WPHT anymore. I will not listen to the station anymore, unless they change format.
