J.D. and the Wolf??

Flipping around the dial today (Sunday) I heard J.D. on The Wolf at 2:30 this afternoon. Is this a new slot for him or a tryout?
 
j d ...currently has the morning gig at ....k t o m .....in salinas. perhaps he has a weekend gig with the wolf.
when i have heard him, he does not sound very enthusiastic. so maybe he is on his way out.
