You not only do not need a million dollar portfolio now, nor $5k, you can get a free STEAK diner and attend an investment seminar. Stay tuned to kFwhyeyeguy,,,,

Foghorn should have stayed with sports in the first place...Like Bruce Jacobs, he has no clue about government, public policy, and anything outside of sports. But watch out, SoCal! There's a hotbed of right wing politics just up the beach in the OC, so this may be the jumping off point for another Congressional race!

you are right, they both could have done sports until they were old and grey...I heard Jacobs on kxnt in Vegas a while back trying out or filling in and he seemed out of it, whether it was a act or for real I could not tell

Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton has been an SD sports talk show host for decades, and actually worked in Phoenix before that (IIRC, KTAR).

He supposedly left the Valley of the Sun because he wanted to do NFL play-by-play, and this was before the Cardinals flew the coop from St. Louis.

Early in his career, he did play-by-play for the WHA hockey Cleveland Crusaders (on what's now WTAM/1100), but despite his bio, his nightly "Sportsline" show was actually on WHLO/640 in Akron...its first talk incarnation under Susquehanna, not today's Clear Channel talk format.

I know. Ask him what color his Mighty 1090 phone lines are. ;)

but does he still have the high speed sportswire?

which was so high speed that it took 30 minutes to actually get the story he was teasing... ;)

The high speed sportswire was a precursor to the dial up modem...thus explaining why it took 30 minutes to finally get the story on the air. A carrier pigeon was probably faster!
