J. Max Robins Not A Dunce

For those of you who have denigrated J. Max Robins, you should
know that he is an experienced and well-credentialled reporter
on media matters. He was a frequent guest on CNN's "Reliable
Sources" (now gone or on hiatus?) and just today (10/16) on
NPR's "On the Media". If you missed it on WGBH-FM, WBUR or
WEVO, an audio feed is available on NPR's website. Howie Carr
sometimes leads J. Max astray into gossip, but given the right intro
or an intelligent question from a caller (like me), he can
give cogent and informed answers! He also has a blog
with broadcasting.com called bcbeat.com.

Who ever said or thought he was. You don't become editor of Broadcast and Cable Magazine because you are the president's lawyer..... ;-)

A little lower on the board, an anti-Howie Carr partisan
denigrated J. Max's contribution to the show.

Yeah, but...

Not anti Max...anti the ma-roons who call up with the same questions week after week! By the way... What did happen to "The Gahhhhhhdian" anyway? ;)

Yeah, I'll re-itterate what Bored-Op said...No one said one negative thing about Max Robbins. Things were only said about the callers that call up about the obscure shows.

And also...."You don't become editor of Broadcast and Cable Magazine because you are the president's lawyer..... ;-) "

That's right, you become Supreme Court Justice LOL
