J.R. Ammons Goes to Jacksonville

J.R. Ammons, former APD/Promotions Director at Star 94, left Star about a year ago to join KMXV-FM, a CHR in Kansas City, as PD. At the time, KMXV was owned by CBS. Now Ammons has announced he's taking the PD job at WAPE-FM in Jacksonville, owned by Cox. WAPE-FM has a great ratings track record but is now being challenged by a new Clear Channel CHR.
