CUMULUS Classic Hits WLS-F/CHICAGO is taking the field with two important players on the disabled list. Both morning man JACK DIAMOND and evening legend DICK BIONDI are currently dealing with health issues.
DIAMOND explained to listeners on his FACEBOOK page, "Sorry I’ve been absent for a few days. I have been dealing with some serious stomach issues, doctor appointments and trying to make some tough decisions. I hope to return to CHICAGO absolutely as soon as possible. I thank the wonderful staff there for being supportive, professional and kind."
SVP/Programming and WLS-F PD JAN JEFFRIES tells ALL ACCESS about BIONDI, "DICK had the flu and fell in his home just as he was on the mend. He is improving daily and anxious to get back. We miss him and look forward to having him back. We are hoping next week."

You know its been over two months since Jack Diamond was on WLS... Has anyone heard if he's coming back. His picture is still on the website...but they took his bio info off.
 
Jack Diamond had a long tenure in Washington at one station. Since he left his career has been erratic. A very short stint in Miami, an even shorter stay in San Diego , a week at WLS FM last summer, a return to the station a few months ago and now he's off the air again. Wonder what will happen next.

How long do you think they will keep his job open at WLS? They're hurting for ratings..
 
Jack Diamond is back on WLS FM this morning. 4/6/15 ... Heard a promo and then he sounded live with Brant and Marti. Brant did a contest though. They have Brant's Picture as who's on air now.. Jack's picture was still on the website but his bio had been taken out. Just started listening at 7:30..
