WJMK has an immediate opening for Program Director at JACK-FM in Chicago. The perfect candidate will exhibit a positive attitude, have the best people skills, and have the drive to win. Our next Program Director will be highly creative, be a negotiator and problem solver, have outstanding strategic vision of the format and be able to translate that vision through leadership to the Programming staff, being inspirational to all who come in contact with them. They will be excellent at giving feedback to and working with talent, and will know WJMK and/or its position and history in the Chicago market.

Interesting. Why the hell do they need a PD in Chicago? Don't the suits above WCBS-FM and WJMK already have this format in a can? I assume that the same mail-merged solicitation is open in NYC with Chad Brown's name on it.

Betcha it's someone who's been there already. At the very least, someone who's been around the market a while...

That's right- we forgot. EVERYTHING in radio is an in-the-can conspiracy that's
been concocted behind closed doors to eliminate personalities and intentionally drive radio into the ground.
