Jack FM in Norridge?

This can't be for real, but if you do a Wikipedia.org search on Jack FM, it lists stations with the Jack FM brand and listed was a WRHS in Norridge. However, a search on radio-locator.com doesn't show a WRHS anywhere. I also realize that articles on Wikipedia are often contributed by the general public, so perhaps someone could've put this on there as a joke. Plus, why would Norridge have a Jack when there is already one on 104.3? <P ID="signature">______________

I thought WRHS was a high school station.

That is why you never take Wikipedia seriously.

WRHS-FM would be Ridgewood High School in Norridge, IL.

No, that is why you don't use Wikipedia as a primary source unless the entry has reliable references and citations.

It's true!

I, too, found that there is no entry for the WRHS calls in Radio-Locator, 100000watts.com, or the FCC database. It looks to me like it's only receivable in the school via the PA system.

And two questions loom here:

Did they get permission from SparkNet or whoever to use the Jack trademark? (I don't think so.)

And how have they avoided CBS and SparkNet's lawyers? Is it a view of "they're just high school kids?"

I also doubt that they got permission, but WRHS was on the air (or PA system) before WJMK flipped to Jack. Apparently they flipped from "Rebel Radio" to "Jack FM" on November 1, 2004 at 7:45AM, actually beating most of the Jacks in the country.
