Since Jack Fm is broadcasting on 103.7 and hd2 on 104.1 dont they need to give a proper legal id?

I dont have a hd radio because I am very cheap. Though this week at lunch I heard the hd2 channel in my friends car and it is the same they run on 109.7 something seems wrong there?

No. KRBE should be I.D.ing it as KRBE HD2, Houston. Although, technically, as long as the RDS display scrolls the I.D., the HD-2 is covered.

HD-2s are NOT required under current rules to be IDed..only HD-1 and the main analog channel.

109.7 is another frequency that can be heard on hd? Wow if this is so, am I missing out on something with hd? Or is it all the same as in now?
