Jack FM relaunches with Jack FM Custom

Who cares? That format is on life support as it is. It's only a matter of time before JOKE is replaced either with ESPN Radio (Which would move over from AM 1600) or an All-News format akin to what is on 105.5 in Colorado Springs.

Just my opinion.....

Cheers :D

Then why not post this on a board where the format does well? All it's really going to do is generate mostly OUT OF TOWN online listeners where ads from local advertisers aren't even heard.

Just my opinion.....

Cheers :D

That isn't so, it's not on life support and if the new owners really wanted to put ESPN on 105.5 they would already have done that but they haven't there for they are not going to it, look at what happened to 101.5 talk doesn't do well at all in Denver. Jack well be jack 105.5 for sometime to come so deal with it.

You're right about ESPN Radio not moving to 105.5 They're pretty choosy about the type of sticks they're on these days (Which is why they've got the marquee events on KKFN 104.3).

But I don't see what they have to lose by not putting an All-News (Ex. WINS, KNX, WBBM etc) format on 105.5 though. Seems kinda silly not to AT LEAST try it IMO.

Cheers :D
