Jack FM teasing major announcement

Heard this on Jack FM a few days ago....

They said that they have a major announcement for Thursday 04/14 at 5:00pm.

Anyone have any guesses on what it is?

Oh...I see...so really...not a major announcement then. Not sure why they would tease that...they have a birthday party every year and they don't build hype like this.

I don't know honestly...if it was a format change...you would think they would do that over the weekend...but they are making the announcement before Friday. Maybe it's just a concert annoucement...but they said it was such a big annoucement they are waiting till Thursday at 5:00,
 
Everytime they do its either a birthday, a concert or a birthday party bash with a concert in it. ;D

If it was a format change they would not announce it on the air. They would just fade away and start stunting!

I'm hoping that they're replacing that moron who does the voiceovers. Surely he can get his V/O job back with the Jack-in- the-Box commercials.

While you're at it, dump the stupid call-in comments.

Jack, if you really want to replace my iPod, SHUT THE **** UP!!! When I hear that snarky V/O or a taped call-in, I instantly tune out. The music mix is not that bad, and I'm right square in the demo for the station, but I cannot and will not deal with the "imaging." :mad:
 
Couls it possibly be that they'll tweak their playlist by adding more rock artists? Like KZJK in Minneapolis? They're playing Three Days Grace, and other rock artists that JACK here don't play.
 
The other thing to look at is "Jack" is the LEAST of their problems. If they were going to change anything it shoud be 107.5. That station is tanking. Jac is at least making money with really no over head.
