Jack FM

I was going through Jack on Yes.com and noticed that the station is now almost all 70s and 80s with some 60s and 90s on occation. They definately lightened up on the 90s and current music. Looks more like a cross between The Drive and 100.3 WNND and The Loop now. I think its either a ratings issue or trying to sound differnent from Nine.

Take a look for yourself: http://www.yes.com/lookup.php?s=WJMK&to=3

So

WJMK: "The Greatest Hits Of The 70s & 80s"
WJMK HD-2: "The Greatest Hits Of The 60s & 70s"

??

On a side note I just heard Napoleon XIV - They're Coming To Take Me Away on WZZN. That was hilarious to hear.<P ID="signature">______________

Even if JACK plays mostly 70s/80s, they wouldn't use the "greatest hits of the 70s and 80s" positioner. They want to create the perception that you never know what song will be on next, that everything is random. Also, they play some rested "Oh Wow" songs that might not be considered greatest hits.
