Jack FM

Re: We HAVE A Winner: First annual Jack-Off Award

Mike, if you like the way JACK-FM sounds to you, more power to you. You're certainly entitled to your opinion. I can't fault you for that.

The only question I have is this:

It seems rather strange for someone hoping for a career in radio to be so supportive of a cost-saving, completely automated format which eliminates jobs in radio. What's the deal with that???

Nice post. But remember that CBS FM was going to have to change one way or another since they were losing lots of revenue.

Our friend OldiesCat has stated over and over again that it would have been smart if CBS Radio but oldies back on 102.7 or something.

We could have had an indepth conversation but you turned it into a stupid argument. All I tried to do was start a thread, but you ruined it by acting immature and like a ten year old. If you have nothing to contribute, then don't post.

NJ Radio Board "Police" have apparently spoken. Instead of being mature and letting things go, YOU (radiolover) have decided to spark MORE of a fire by making YOUR comments. I rest my case...

BTW- copying and pasting someone ELSE'S post is REALLY sparking conversation/discussion.

CLEVER!!

(This is in no way directed towards the original poster)

In radiolover's defense...

I mentioned near the end of my original post that I thought the post might fit better here on the NYC board rather than the Variety Hits board where it was originally posted. Radiolover apparently agreed and reposted the post here.

Let's stop the quarreling...

...and talk about the music. :)

I am allowed to defend myself.

As the original poster stated below, they suggested this post be posted on this board.

I didn't think this was going to turn into a long thread that is completely off topic.

Even though I disagree with the behavior of a certain someone (not Radio411), I apologize for dragging out this argument.

Thanks for defending me. This thread made a turn to the left. Not the way I was hoping for it to go!
