Jack Hammer Gone From "The Wolf"

I was listened to "The Wolf" and they are now running jockless playing country music, but they are no longer calling it the "Morning Wolf Den" and Jack Hammer is now being let go from the station. I missed Jack Hammer so much.

And then, one of the biggest problems for this station is that they played the weather jingle from Cumulus' sister station "Mix 97.7", that's odd. Playing the "Mix 97.7" jingle on "The Wolf" is rediculous.

Is there any changes in mornings? Why not bring in a syndicated "Moby in the Morning" on this station, or maybe they should rebrand itself as "Nash-FM", but I hope it will appearing on all Cumulus outlets starting in 2013.

Any thoughts?

It's Christmas, time for Cumulus to swing the chopping axe. Swung the axe in a few markets as I hear it.

I read on facebook that CJ was taking over mornings beginning this Monday. Of course CJ was let go earlier in the year at WRWD to make room from the return of Tommy.

CJ has lots of morning drive experience and should do well.

It's a good alternative for those people that can't stand Tommy on RD.

I have to say, for a Top 40 guy - CJ really did give it a 110% with the move to country and really was really starting to do well before he got let go.

Thanks! I love CJ, and I'm still a big fan. I remember him when he was on WBPM's original "B94" back in the 90's when it was a Top 40/CHR station as well ass he was on "Rhythm 94.3" as a "Jammin' Oldies" station from 1999 until 2001. While he was on that station, he went WPKF's "Kiss-FM" from 2001 until 2008 and then to WRWD from 2008 until he left this past March. I'm so glad to see CJ coming back to 94.3 where it belong. He hasn't been heard on the same frequency since 2001. I do really miss "Downtown" Lou Brown and Carl Dayton from the "B94" days, and I hope they should come back for a reunion.

I'm looking forward to this. I've heard the promo the other day he is coming back. Is Dee coming back as well? I'll plan on recording the first show starting this Monday morning. After this is done, I will be posting CJ's first show coming this Monday.
