Jack in Evansville

Well, it's been around for a little while now, and I must say that I'm not impressed at all. Basically sounds like a watered-down freeform version of WIKY. Anyone who's heard it have any thoughts?

I have to agree with you. But I have heard many that do like it. I guess we
will find out in the next couple of months.
The question of the day is will it take any shares away from Regent?

It's quite possible. From what I've heard, most Jack stations attempt to draw younger, but if the playlist is any indication, Evansville's Jack is certainly an exception. I don't like it, but I get the impression that South Central doesn't care because they seem to be going after a WIKY-like demo - which is a big pool of listeners in this market. Would be pretty funny if it just pulls numbers from WIKY and doesn't affect Regent at all...
