when pat cardinal was at q107...howard cogan was there too...he did the evenings and then Gonzo took over...one thing that was done at Q107 during that time when cardinal was there was they brought Howard Stern to q107...he went off the air in 2001.

Yes, but please don't forget that WIC (owners of Q at the time) were also in the process of selling to Corus entertainment (the current owners)

It's WIC that Ok'd Stern for the Toronto market, and Corus that ordered him out.
If Corus were to buy the station sooner, it may be that the "Mighty" Q would never have picked up Stern. (Not sure if another company in the market would have had interest or not though.)<P ID="signature">______________
