Jack Malloy at WSBA

The information you have is correct..but that hopefully doesn't mean the "Jack Malloy Watch" is over. I am fortunate enough to be able to start a second career in Human Resource Management with the Commonwealth...and who better to deal with "people issues" than a man who has served the people over the air for close to 35 years!

I would, however, still enjoy being back in the business. If that opportunity presents itself, lets talk! Otherwise, lets celebrate my new advernture together, so others I know who may wind up on the street can use me for a regference. :)

Hey Jack...when did you say that I start my new job there? ;D
Glad to hear that you found work! My turn now... ;)
Take care, Jack!

So where do all you professionals who know and love, and come to the defense of "Mr. Scooter"
think he should get an on-air position in your market?
I too wish. him well!

Peace!

Dear world,

Hire Scooter. Hire him now.

How's that?

Hey, I sure hope you're not directing that at me. I don't post here in hopes of finding a job. In my earlier post, I was only kidding around with and high-fiving Jack Malloy, with whom I worked for a brief time at RadioPA.

I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth posting here at all. Too much anger and back-biting for my taste.

Scooter, yours is a positive voice here.

I think that the "Hire Scooter" rally was intended to bring you back to the airwaves where many of us would like to hear you.

I know I'd enjoy having you on the car radio...

Hire me now! ;-)

Thanks, pal. I appreciate the kind comments. I think I've come to a point where I wouldn't mind going back on the air. Couldn't say that 1, 2 or 3 years ago, but I miss it. If the opportunity arises, I will definitely explore it.
Thanks again, and sorry if I misunderstood anyone's comments. Sometimes it's difficult to figure out who's being an idiot and who's just kidding...but that's the Internet.
;)

I really meant that sincerely, scooter. You're a good guy with a good rep. Too many people are ousted from radio gigs these days that shouldn't.

My apologies if it came across too tongue in cheek...but I meant it.

No need to apologize. It's my fault for not thinking that one out. Thanks for the kind words!

Hi! This is Ginny, Jack’s wife. For those who haven’t heard he passed away in his sleep on July 22, 2020. One month shy of his 71st birthday.
A memorial mass will be planned in York, Pennsylvania once Covid-19 settles down. Jack will be buried in Maryland.

I remember you from 14 FEC in Harrisburg in 1976 .
