He said he was filling in nights for 2 weeks. It is now 3 weeks and no mention of filling in. Did CBS decide that the PPM's justified ramping up Q105?

I meant "JT" who was VT'ed from WOMC. I just wonder if Q105, now being CBS's top station was considered worth going live and local nights? They kicked Hank Shaw out, so I wonder if that enabled them to add staff to Q105? I like Jack Miller and I hope Q stays local at night. JT is a nice guy, but he is in Detroit.

Isnt this the same guy that went by the name Jack Russell (JR) on WSUN Country 620 mid days way back when? Or also on weekends on WQYK?

I don't know. I was living in Richmond back then. Jack miller was nights on Q until they cut staff in a downsizing. Since Q105 is CBS's PPM leader, I assumed they might want to get JacK Back. Since QYK isn't as hot as it once was and not their leader, they cut staff there I guess. I think if Jack Miller is on to stay, they could VT JT overnights so they sound like Tampa's most Boomer-friendly station!

It seems jack miller is now on the air more than any other jock on the Q. Why don't they give him the slot full time.........I love his saturday night dance party and glad to see his 70s at 7 is returning. I also discovered the top 20 countdown recently, great stuff. The jock's - Rick Hunter??? - tidbits of information on the music is great, i love it!

i actually heard Chuck E's in love by rickie lee jones on the radio this morning. haven't heard that song in years.
