I don't think there was a call letter change? I wonder if a format change maybe in the planning stages? Hmmm, KLRS. Those calls were used in the late 1980's on Santa Cruz's 99.1 FM (now KSQL). I think it was most recently used in the Chico area. The calls could be interpet as "Colors".

KLRS are the current calls for 89.7 Lodi - EMF's K-Love affiliate broadcasting to Sacramento and San Joaquin counties from Walnut Grove. No connection to Clear Channel or 93.7 FM.

It's just the default calls put up by the hd radio when the transmitting station is not providing the info to your radio. Simple as that! No format or call letter change.

I was up in Sac this weekend on the way to Redding and picked it up in HD again today, the calls come up as KHRS not KLRS, sorry

I have the Sony xdr-f1hd home tuner.

Without straying tooooo far off-topic here, what type of antenna have you got your XDR-F1HD hooked up to?

I have it hooked to an old rooftop tv antenna (10 feet high) with a broken rotor. I still get all local stations, some bay area and KVMR. I'm in Elk Grove. KCBS 740 am will come in in hd with the supplied loop antenna.
