Not to mention, you can sell anything if you give it a catchy name. This is beginning to sound more and more like the automated stations that once were the small-town FM studios alongside the full-service AM operations. (See Laurel Network in State College pre-1980 and Clearfield well into the 1980s for examples.)

Good observation.

For a comment like that, saith the sheep, "BAAAAAD!"

I'm feeling agreeable today, re the loss of jock jobs and the loss of an opportunity on 'RRK's part. Both these thoughts are valid. WRRK's "rock without rules" is Jack without conviction. The payoff was clearly anti-climactic.

Last but certainly least, FM 93.7 is my guess. FM 100.7 has too many good elements of several former Infinity operations (it mixed what was good about FM 93.7 over the years, including John and Bubba, while their newscaster went to KD's so-called "Morning News") for the p.r. bloodbath Infinity would take. FM 107.9 is flicking off the frogs, and KDKA ... who ever heard of Jack AM?
(Just kidding on the latter. KDKA is having too much trouble transitioning into being a typical CBS-owned-and-operated news/talk for management to dump it all for an automated muzak for the 21st century.)
