I was checking out a new format being distributed by zapoleon media today and was wondering if a station in phoenix picked up this format, if this would format would do well. It seems to take motown hits, disco, 80's up tempo hits. It kinda sounds like Jack FM but with a beat. So give it a listen and let us know if you think it would take off in phoenix.

Has Guy been breaking into my house and looking through my CD collection again?

I think I own every song in the demo loop.<P ID="signature">______________

The format sounds ok, but not as good IMO as Mega 104.3/99.3 with their rhythmic oldies from the 60s through the 90s and astoundingly deep music library.

Thanks for the comparison to a fine radio station.

If you stay tuned for a while, I think you'll find that we play just about everything that they do ... and more. (I'm quite familiar with their playlist, since I'm the person who coordinated their original iSelector internet audio for RCS -- about three years after we started putting R&G together.)

Keep listening!

Yeah, do you play Ideal "Whatever" or Montell Jordan "Get it on Tonight"?

Didn't think so.

And Famous says "Right backatcha" ... but unfortunately, he's lost your e-mail address! Please go to www.rhythmandgold.com, click on Omar the Scratching DJ in the lower right-hand corner, and drop him a line so he knows where to find you.

Thanks!

Anita

The format has already been done. It's called
Rhythmic AC. This is not a new format!.
