Re: Big Pipes Poll -- Love 'em or Not

>Intimidate. Coward. Fool.
Mike ... Michael ... Mikey ... BP ... lets see how much respect you have on this board.
You have been on this board for months -- trashing Las Vegas radio and trashing Las Vegas. You have built yourself up to look like some sort of radio God.
Oh -- may I add -- right now an UNEMPLOYED radio God.
As an agency owner -- and a proud member of the Las Vegas airwave fraternity -- your LA pedigree does not intimidate me nor anyone else. Mike -- Michael -- Mikey -- BP -- if you were that good -- you would still be on in LA. You're not that old to be put out to pasture yet. You were simply fired.
Coward? It's called discretion. Having a good reputation in this town -- something you obviously do not, it's fun to have a "private name". Maybe if you got out a little bit -- and not just hide behind your keyboard -- you might have a little name for yourself too.
Fool? You end all of your e-mails with that term. I believe there was a 70s sitcom character that did the same. TA-DA -- I'm right! You are stuck in the 70s. OK --- I'll let the fool comment go.
I have talked to many people on this board Mike/Michael/Mikey/BP -- and they are tired of your bitching and trashing and idiotic comments.
So -- lets take an official poll -- who agrees with Mr. O'Neil -- and who does not?
This should be fun.

Re: Big Pipes Poll -- Love 'em or Not

Big Pipes is why Jack is in Vegas Baby! Now let's play another song!

Love Jack!

Re: Big Pipes Poll -- Love 'em or Not

Obviously you don't get it. I'm retired. Never have been fired. Don't want a radio job and don't need one. If a dork like you owns an ad agency in vegas it ain't much. Don't care about respect got all I need...wannabe. I will trash as I see fit.
Now that I have that out of my system, if you are a bigtime agency owner how in hell do you have the time to hang out and bitch at me like a little girl for voicing my opinion about poor entertainment? I'm retired, I have the time to play now whats your excuse? I'm sure you are full of crap.
As was once said on this board "O'Neil just likes to stir things up" BINGO! and you ate the bait...he-he-he

Re: Big Pipes Poll -- Love 'em or Not

>Thank you for your response Mike.
How can I respond to your opinions during working hours? It's called "time management" my friend.
Dork? I don't believe in our friendly, yet spirited battle, I have ever called you a name. I have suggested that you leave town, and have suggested that you haven't a clue, but have never called you anything but Mike, Michael, or BP. I think Dork was a little bit childish. But, I guess it is to be expected.
Little girl? I may not have the "pipes" that you do, but I have the respect and the accolades of everyone in the Las Vegas business community, and the Las Vegas media. Mike, can you say that? I honestly don't think so.
You do stir the pot, and that is very healthy for our industry. I commend you for that.
Now, since that is out of my system, let me continue. I never once said I was a bigtime advertising agency owner. I own a small shop. Please go back in your notes, and see where I said ... "bigtime". Go ahead ... I'll wait.
Still Waiting.
Still Waiting.
Still Waiting.
Maybe you are right, I should devote the time pointing out your false information and defending Las Vegas to more constructive things. You have your opinions, and you are entitled to voice them. As am I.
I would like our conversations to turn positive. No more "dork". No more "fool". No more "little girl". (all your terms) Just happy talk.
Mike, it would be interesting to know what you do like. And I'm just not talking about Las Vegas. You're retired. Do you enjoy long walks in the park? Sitting with other retired "big piped people" and playing checkers? Do you enjoy midnight bingo and 2 for 1 buffet dinners?
Everyone on this board knows what you don't like. Is there anything you do like?
Thanks for your time over the past few weeks, Mike. I guess it is true that you cannot turn lemons into lemonade.

Re: Big Pipes Poll -- Hopefully -- a final positive word.

>There you go with the "dork" again. Michael, that is so childish.
No,Michael -- I do not speak for the board. Henceforth (that means from this moment forward, Michael) -- I will make this first person.

Again, you did not answer MY question, Michael. You hate Vegas radio. Grant it, there are parts that disturb me as well. You hate Las Vegas in general. Michael, there are 49 other states you can live in. You just sound so bitter. 'Tis sad.
I just want to see if there is a "positive" side of Michael.
Now, since you are having trouble reading and understanding -- I will ask again -- slower. What is it you like, Michael? Do you enjoy retirement watching Regis & Kelly? Do you enjoy retirement listening to old air-check tapes (on reel to reel, I'm sure) of yourself, and going, "Boy, I was good."
You see, many people on here complain, Michael. But, looking back -- many bring up positive, even funny comments. You do not seem positive about anything, Michael.
I better stop. I am sounding like Dr. Phil.
See, Michael. That was humor. That was positive. No "dork". No "fool". No "bitterness".
Kumbaya, Michael.

And now you speak for everyone? Wow! Get a life Dork

I'll give the wait and see on Jack...I'll be honest. I like it so far.

However, let's pull the curtain back on who exactly JACKBABY is. It's one of three people. It's either Craig Powers, Jack's PD, Jack Landreth, the PD of Infinity's two AM stations or Landreth's stooge of an APD Patty or Paul or Pete...I'm not sure of his name.

Craig Powers is too classy to make "Jack-like" comments on this board.
Landreth, on the other hand, is a whole lotta talk and a grade-A professional name dropper. If it is JL maybe you should focus on the delight that is the 1-share powerhouse Spike...if it's your asst. PeterPauliePatrick well at least he's doing something.
