"Jackin around town" has not been updated since July. Nothing scheduled after tomorrow's "Big Show" and the website says 1 Day Left (supposedly until the show). www.jackontheweb.com Could this mean JACK is moving to HD-2 Like in NY?
 
Charlie - are you high? It still goes form 7/28 - 8/4. First the MOViN' thing... now this. :eek: And the last Jacktivity is tonight at NRH20. Hmmmm?

Why? It is only one of two stations in the top 10 25-54 CBS has in the new ratings (the other being KVIL).

Nope. Because it is CBS. They focus too much on consultants, 18 - 24 demo and D magazine. Since it is pretty evident that MOViN' is not going anywhere anytime soon the only logical thing they should do is put Jagger on mornings at JACK and Russ on Jack afternoons - music the rest of the time. Sure Russ bills a lot but the rest of Live 150.3 is pretty pointless. Then... I'd stick smooth jazz on 105.3. Smooth jazz is doing well in the major markets. But that is my opinion and it probably won't happen. D/FW FM is a mess.
 
I agree, get rid of Live 105.3 and bring back smooth jazz
 
why do you say bring back smooth jazz instead of 105.3? is it because of ratings or revenue, or, because RM is a jack-ass? (no offense to jack) and because PandK are terrible. Those things may be true, but if they are making money...how can you flip?

This talk is insane. KJKK ranks seventh 25-54 - and posted a 26% increase this demo. Beat both Country stations, KLUV, and K104.

KMVK saw substantial gains 18-49 and 25-54 this book.
 
y'know what...jeff is on to something...actually, THAT is a great idea. I wish I thought of that. Jagger and Russ on Jack would work. You would keep the tsl from Jagger and Russ and get your at work cume in mids. add promotions and endorsements and Jack could do amazing.

I'm just glad JACK is playing more alternative artist like Cake, Radiohead, Moby etc. That why I quit listening to the Edge.

They're in the progress of changing webmasters, that's why the website isn't updated.

they are together now, Jagger in the morning and Russ in the afternoon, I think you are confused.

My apologies.

I thought the poster's idea was trying to put the two (Jagger & Russ) together in
the morning slot as a team. That's what made me cringe. It'd never work.
