We are sad to note the passing of Jackie (Dickson) Merriman on January 9, 2018. Jackie was one of an elite group of vocalists who can be heard on thousands of jingles and commercials broadcast all over the world every day. During her studio career she sang for every major production company in Dallas. She was the lead singer in the classic PAMS 7-voice group of the early 1970s. When JAM began in 1974 Jackie became our lead singer and continued in that role into the mid-80s. She was in no small part responsible for our early success and acceptance by the radio industry. Jackie's voice had a natural sparkle and friendly sound that would simply brighten up your day as well as your jingle. And she was a sweetheart.
