OK, sports fans, it's official. Captain Make-up made her peace today and will be closing out the week with her trusty cohort. Are we seeing the debut of Morticia on the desk, or will BELO have a heart (and a brain) and place Debbie back there where she belongs?

Perhaps, they will fish for chips on other BELO stations from someone to make that big jump to Victory Plaza?

Who knows?! Stay tuned. Developments forthcoming... or your thoughts... whichever comes first.

You didn't hear it from me, but Christine Haas (anchor of Belo-owned KVUE's 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts in Austin) auditioned for the job. She is being seriously considered, so we'll have to see what happens.

Christine Haas is more hard news than anything, so im curious why they want her to replace Jackie and her manhands is beyond me. As long as they replace Justin "Puppetboy" Farmer and Morticia, i'll be happy...
