FYI.
If you've been looking for Jackson's #'s at All Access or R&R...this market is now client
exclusive which means the data will be available only to Arbitron clients.

Doesnt really matter nothing has changed in Jackson for years!

JMI #1
Miss #2

All others under them..

Yeah. I know. But, I did hear that WZZQ went country and changed calls to WMSI - Miss 103.

Any truth the rumor that Y101 will be changing to polka and Miss 103 to non stop dog barking?

94TYX will never make it as an Oldies station... and that's a fact, Jack.

Ok well if they want than will 98.7 succeeed with any format? Country, Rock, Top 40, Country, urban, Country, AC?????

I also hear 96.3 is changing to WIIN 96 from their present country format.

I am truely sorry 62 JDX is going all sports  Rumor has it 1180 is dropping CCM for News/Talk also. ???

Rock 93.9 will have a GREAT first book...and then..well...................

That's O.K. about 1180 AM (WKKE ) dropping CCM , because we're getting a new FM in town 105.9 WYJS (Spirit 106 ) - "We're Your Jesus Station " with Buster Wilson doing mornings .

OK. I'll play the silly game...
WRBC and WJDX are swapping frequencies.
RBC to 1300 and JDX to 620.
And...I hear that WJDT (WJDX TV) Channel 3 decided to use the call letters WLBT instead. The first calls sounded too much like WJTV Channel 25.

speaking of WJTV, I've always wondered something. for years WJTV has claimed that they were the first television station in Jackson. But which was really first on the air WJTV 25 or WSLI 12? Because old timers know that WJTV 25 went belly-up and then WSLI 12 took the WJTV call letters. and why didn't they reasign channel 25 to be used for WAPT or ETV (WMAA) years later instead of handing out new channels.

If we're talking tee-vee, Bob Neblett is gonna be hawking some of that creamy Seale-Lily ice cream, while Woody Assaf will swear by LuVel. Meanwhile, Augie File will be getting ready to fill us in on the latest twi-night double header score. Plus, Bert Case will be doing a story on... oh, nevermind. He still is!

WJTV 25 was first. That's why Channel 12 picked up the calls when they companies merged, instead of keeping WSLI TV, so they could say they were first.
Channel 25 went to Gulfport and Greenville (?)
