Total Media has flipped 100.1 "Q100 Hits Now" WXZQ Piketon/Waverly to Conservative Talk as "100.1 The Eagle" and flipped AM 660/FM 95.9 WXIC Waverly to Sports Talk "The Game"
I'll try to remember to give it a listen tomorrow here just outside Columbus.
660 had that gospel format as long as I can remember hearing the frequency up here. I wonder what teams, if any, they will pick up. You almost have to carry some team of regional interest, or even local games, to have any relevance as a sports format.

Total Media is pretty much doing High School sports on all their properties this year - AM 660/FM 95.9 has been doing high school football despite being southern gospel until this week.
They do carry "Ohio State Football" on 100.9 Hank FM. I don't see them moving Ohio State to the AM/FM translator combo.
The Sports Network that WXIC is running is the former "CBS Radio Sports" network now known as "Infinity Sports Network"
Personally, I was a big fan of the Southern Gospel, but I am not shocked they nixed it despite previously saying "we don't plan on touching AM 660" I had knew they had plans to eventually change 100.1 WXZQ from CHR to another format as they had mentioned possibly doing something else with that one when they changed 100.9 to "Hank FM"
