Jackson not guilty.

I found out that Michael J. Jackson was acquitted on all charges.

He needs to get back into the studio to record.

I CALL OUT TO ALL CLUB DJS AND REMIXERS TO REMIX AND PRODUCE HIS TRACKS FOR HIS NEWEST ALBUM

That if the Dance community will welcome him back with open arms. After all we are talking about a artist who is ranked #6 on Billboard's top 200 Dance/Disco club artists list with 21 charted Dance hits(#7 overall), 17 of them top 20(#9 overall), 15 of them entering the top 10(#6 overall), 7 going all the way to #1 on the Dance/club chart(#10 overall) and spending 21 weeks at the #1 position(#4 overall).

He still gets spins in my book. He has some great classics. It's none of our business what he did or didn't do.

I agree. And so will the "KTU"s, the "Diva"s, the "Energy"s, the "C89.5"s, and any other Dance-oriented broadcaster who will continue to spin MJ's music. After all he did help play a part in revitalizing the Dance community.

I disagree 100% that it's none of our business what he did or didn't do--especially if he did it, which I believe he did. (To be clear, I don't believe that he did it with the particular child involved in the case that ended yesterday.)

All sorts of things may be none of our business: His sexuality, his hobbies & interests, even the way he decorates that awful ranch of his... These are things that don't cause anyone harm. But protecting children is everyone's business. Child molestation can't just be ignored.

Hopefully this most recent run-in will make him realize he's not invincible and will shake him from this fantasy world he's been living in. He needs to grow up and stop ruining people's lives.

That said, what Michael Jackson did in the 1980's is a legacy for which he should be commended. Thriller was an awesome album. And I doubt that stations across the country are gonna stop playing "Thriller" on October 31 of each and every blessed year! But once the reality of his mental illness became apparent, it was a very fast downhill slide. He will never be widely accepted again. His career is over. If he records another album, I believe he will just be embarrassing himself. He should fade away with whatever shred of grace and self-respect he can muster at this point.

whatever.

thats the beauty of living in America. He had a fair trial.. and the system proved that he was "Guilty until proven innocent". You must still be polluted from watching CNN and Fox News because the Media tatooed the public that he was guilty. I am sure that you probably never stepped a foot inside of that court room to hear the case... so, I would like to know why you still think "He Did It" Do you think 12 jurors got together and decided that even though he molested little boys... "lets go ahead and declare that he is innocent anyways.. because he is Michael Jackson?" - Come on dude... please.

Americans are very forgiving people.. and I think his career is far from being over... not to mention, MJ is a god over seas.. he is going to bank off this.

There is also speculation that he is going to be doing a show in Vegas... and judging from the celine deon show at caesars.. the MJ show will be the biggest show in the history of the Vegas strip.
______________

Re: No more spins for him./None of our business?

When "grown-ups" disagree, they don't start off with "Whatever." If you want to have a discussion, you could try being a little bit less disrespectful.

I read maybe the first paragraph-and-a-half of what you wrote. The point I was making--which you obviously missed--is that Michael Jackson's career is kaput. You apparently chose to focus on the "did-he or didn't-he" aspect without actually comprehending what I'd said. And, to back up your argument, you used evidence that failed to dispute what I'd said! I never for one second believed that Jackson was guilty in this case.

You might want to start reading more carefully before you start telling people they've been polluted. Your reply was one of immaturity and utter ignorance. You would do well to delete it with the EDIT feature.

My God... Grow up. You're letting your fanaticism cloud reality. The future will tell the tale.

Now go ahead and "get the last word" so you can feel like you've won something. (There's at least one on every board, isn't there?)

Naah.. there is ALWAYS at least one person that can never accept the truth... In this case.. you are the one that STILL thinks MJ is a child molester even though the jury found him 100% NOT GUILTY on 10 counts... What else is there to prove?

When someone posted something positive and supportive about MJ.... you are the one that has to make the negative post about how you still think he is guilty.. about how you think his career is over.. and about how you think he should just quit and fade away. Come on man.. It's Michael Jackson! He's not gonna quit and fade away! - I know that I would honestly hate to see that happen.

You think the whole world should completley stop playing his music because you still feel that he did it? - WHATEVER.. that's BS. Not being disrespectful.. I just dont think that people should stop playing his music because they believe he is guilty. Thats not what music is about.

Look at what one of the most respected people on this board wrote (Robert Moore)

After all he did help play a part in revitalizing the Dance community.

that line right there sums it all up.

I could careless about last words, etc... its a message board.. and thats my opinion.. just like you have your own opinion.. but if its something that I disagree on.. Im not going to sit there and say "Wow I totally agree with you" - Im going to defend for what I believe in.
______________

LOL. You sure do like to repeat yourself. And you really don't pay attention. You're still arguing about whether or not he's a child molester. This is my opinion. Let it go, man!

Even one of the jurors has said he believes Michael Jackson is a child molester...but that he doesn't think Jackson molested the boy in this most-recent case. We understand that you love Michael Jackson but open your friggin skull for a second.

Jackson's career has been in the toilet forever. Look at the sales of his most recent albums. And no, he was not embroiled in a child molestation case at the times of their release and subsequent dismal performances. Not to mention, he's 100 years old and his back hurts too much to even walk into the courtroom. How's he supposed to moonwalk?

Another sign that his career is over: The Jackson clan is shopping a limited run reality show about themselves to television networks. Yes, he's almost as popular as Kevin Federline and the Gastineau Girls. Geesh.

sweet!

well.. like i said.. you have your opinion.. and i have mine..... i have faith that he will be back...

my skull is wide open.... could be the reason i repeat myself a lot. hehe

jessica simpson had a reality show.. and she is NOWHERE near ending her career.

i cant say that i love MJ.. but i did listen to him while growing up.. and to me.. it would be sad to see him end his career on this sour note... but no matter what.. he will always be the king of pop.

but u have to admit.. the media wanted him to be guilty... they said he was guilty... and now since he's not guilty... all of those man hours putting together the "guilty" clips and shows.. bit them in the ass... because now they dont have sh*t to talk about.

Re: No more spins for him./None of our business?

I guess you're not gonna like what I have to say here. LOL. It appears from most opinion polls (and also from people I've talked to about the subject) that the majority of people believe that Michael Jackson has molested boys. I personally agree with that so I wasn't surprised when this case came about. But as soon as details about the family started leaking out--and certainly when transcripts of the court testimony were made public--I knew for sure that he didn't molest that particular boy.

I think people just think he's guilty of commiting this heinous crime at some point and they think he should be made to pay for it. I can't say I disagree with that. But this is the case on which he was tried and I believe the jury made the right decision.

If Michael Jackson is able to make a comeback, then I guess that's great for him. I was a fan of his early stuff and I still love "Scream" (the one he did with Janet)...but I will definitely not be buying anything he puts out in the future. I don't let celebrity's personal lives influence whether I support them financially but I do have to draw the line at child molestation! (From the sounds of it, he needs all the financial support he can get right now too!)

Oh! And Tom Cruise is really sickening me lately but that's just because he seems to have gone crazy and because he's brainwashing poor, sweet Katie Holmes (or whatever her name is). So his films are pretty much off my agenda too. LOL.

I disagree. They got a TON of viewership throughout that trial, and that's what they wanted. The public always needs a scape goat, and Michael Jackson was it, whether or not he actually molested a child. He also served as an underdog, and a lot of people like a good underdog fight. The media churned its political machine and made a sh*tload of money off the court proceedings.

Right now, they're not biting their asses.. they're collecting the huge wads of money coming out of their asses right now :)
______________

i disagree.... did u watch cnn and fox news? every major show on each channel (Bill O'Reilly, Nancy grace, etc... was ALL pissed off that he was acquitted.. Even the dude on MSNBC (Chris Matthews) was in shock. they kept saying time after time that they were shocked at the verdict and "could not believe what the jury was thinking and how they came up with this verdict." ... and they kept trying to put words into interviewers who supported MJ.

My father likes Bill O'Reilly.. and he even thought that Bill O'Reilly was out of line with his one sided comments. Nancy Grace on CNN made me want to puke.. because she flat out said that she disagreed and "WAS DISGUSTED" with the verdict.... also... the Sun and Miami Herald wrote one sided articles about the outcome.
______________
