Jacksonville Engineering Legend - Dick Jones

Below is an edited version of an e-mail I received today.

I know that each of you know Dick Jones who has been a virtual legend in Jacksonville Media Engineering for at least 38 years I know about. Perhaps he’s been around longer than that? He and I and I’m sure the majority of you have had a wonderful relationship with Dick as both co- worker and friend.

I saw Dick and his wife today.

Dick told me that he has Pancreatic Cancer and that it “doesn’t look good” for him.
 
Dick is a great guy - one of my favorite people I worked with in Jacksonville. I really hope he pulls through.

I received an e-mail from Dick last Friday.

He asked that I say "HI" to the "gang".

I trust he will not object to my posting it here.

Have good days and bad days. Good seems to be winning out. Say HI to the whole gang for me. Time to take a nap.
