Jacksonville Gets A Second Modern Rocker - X102.9

The Jax market now has two full market signals focusing on Modern Rock. Former 80s station 102.9 The Point made the flip yesterday, and it's all over the North Florida board (even managed to spill over to the Houston board).

Just checked out their playlist for the past few hours day. Looks pretty good, saw bands like Death Cab, Gorillaz, Coldplay, U2, The Airborne Toxic Event getting airplay. Looks like they will be a nice modern rock choice compared to the Planet- which is mostly all that butt rock and nu-metal stuff that really isn't even modern rock...honestly the Planet should be active rock, but I've been through this before a million times. Anyways, a good ACTUAL modern rocker for Jacksonville.
