Jacksonville Summer Ratings

18-34

1. WJBT
2. WAPE
3. WFYV
4. WFKS
5. WPLA

25-54

1. WEJZ
2. WOKV
3. WFYV
4. WJGL
5. WSOL

Station by station based on 12+ rank:

WOKV - Limbaugh and Hannity own their time slots as usual. Much lower ratings for the morning news holding WOKV down. Could be getting a 10 share.

WEJZ - Most of Lite's listeners are women between 45 and 64. Why did Renda go with Soft AC on WSOS? This is like asking why Cox let Lex n Terry get away.

WQIK - When the Hitkicker's not #!1 in total listeners, it drops a rank or two. Awful book as QIk drops out of the top 5 25-54, but Gator can't take the credit.

WJBT - I predicted they'd be #2 overall. WRONG. Still the leader in 18-34 though. Doug Banks (#2) was thisclose to Lex n Terry (#1) in the mornings 18-34.

WSOL - Ratings down three motnhs in a row. Tom Joyner's now #2 25-54.

WFYV - Big Lex n Terry ratings in September. Since music to sleep by is already taken (Sunny 94.1) what format is next now that LnT are outta there?

WJGL - The Eagle's cranking along with no sign its tunes have burned out. Yet.

WAPE - #1 in total listeners. #8 in keeping them. #2 18-34.

WFKS - Second book in a row in the top 10 for KISS. #4 18-34 overall. MJ now getting it handed to him by the Zoo and missed the top 5 18-34.

WPLA - Consistent performer, but that's probably changing in February.

WMXQ - Tied with Planet for #10 overall. First time that's happened since last Fall. New PD gets props for stopping the plunge.

WROO - Back to normal after tanking in the Spring. Still, #12 is nothing to get excited about.

WZAZ - Gospel getting more listeners now that the end of the world is near.

WBGB - The Promise's addition of Heather White in the mornings is showing progress. Wouldn't be surprised to see this station in the top 10 in the Fall.

WGNE - Gator has yet to crack a 3 share and based on the lack of significant growth, Rooster and QIK have little to worry about.

WKQL - Kool is as big as failure as Arrow was.

WJSJ - Smooth Jazz today... (your guess here) tomorrow.

WFXJ - #1 in sports talk. Will Clear Channel grab Limbaugh from Cox like they did in Orlando and Atlanta and take on WOKV? How much longer is a 1 share and the dollars that go with it going to cut it?
