Jacky Bam Bam

Some radio stations choose to either VT or syndicate their evenings. Not so WMMR. Here's an article about the station's night DJ Jacky Bam Bam:

WMMR always was in a league of its own. Best Rock station ever. Jacky Bam Bam is a great guy as well as a great DJ. I just wish they would have some one on from Midnight to 6. Last October was time WMMR was ever left unattended overnights.been listening to it my entire 33 years of existance.

Radio needs more Jacky Bam Bams... His show and, especially, "You Call It Friday Night" are perfect examples of why I love WMMR. About half of his show is the standard rotation currents and recurrents, but it's the random library cuts and even cuts that are five steps away from the format, like tracks from Johnny Cash and Otis Redding to stuff like Kool and the Gang or Dr. John, that he'll drop in which keep me listening.
