Will not happen for reasons:
1. KFYI has never gotten ratings with a morning news block. Their strength is Talk (though they have a fine news dept.). They will counter-program KTAR.
2. Barry did AM drive 5-9 for a number of years. He vastly prefers to come in a little later. 8 AM is already too early for his personal taste, and he likes doing just two hours.
3. Jacobs is on vacation. He's not leaving KFYI.

I'd rather listen to the crackle of the Cave Creek Complex fire close up then bear another minute of "Terry's News Talkers" on "Newslisten 550 KFYI"

Gilberg is awful, screechy conspiracy/patriot claptrap.
If I want to hear whackjobs, I can listen to Patriot Trading Group on KFNX doing a daily infomercial based on fear, dodgy economic beliefs, and conspirational bilge to try to sell you gold!
There is no good shows on at 6pm anywhere, has anyone ever heard Jeffery O'Brien? Terrible waste of electricity.
But Crummey is great, and Hendrie is still the best.
