Jagger and Kristi return!

Today's U-T reporting that J&K will take over AM Drive at XHRM (Magic 92.5) on Thursday. Kudos to Glickenhaus for bringing 'em back!

I'm glad to hear they're comming back. It will be interesting to see how they do on a Rythemic type format

Finest City Broadcasting does not "own" the stations yet ... it's a Stay Tuned item.<P ID="signature">______________

I think Rick Thomas had a big hand in this. When I was part of the morning show on Jammin' Z-90, Rick brought Kristi in from Milwaukee (way back in 1990).

Their website also says "Starting this Thursday morning "Magic Mornings with Jagger and Kristi" on Magic 92.5!" so they don't sound like they're going to stay tuned :)

Totally agree, I am extremely surprised he didn't hire them for Z-90.

If this is indeed true, I wonder if they plan on tweaking the format a bit. J & K sound a little too cutesy for this musical style.

They'll do fine with rhythmic stuff. J&K met when they were at Wild/SF when Rick took her up there in 1994. Jagger was doing PM drive at the time. That was Kristi and Rick's third station together after he brought her to SD from WLUM Milwaukee when Z-90 first when rhythmic in April 1990.

Re: Kristi was at 92.5 Before

I remember Kristi Knight (now Jagger) doing Saturday nights on
92.5 saturday nights when that station was playing alternative musix.
She was playing remixes of alternative songs during her shift.
It was about 1996.

Re: Kristi was at 92.5 Before

Yeah, she was there for a very short period, after Z90 let her go, and then she go the job doing traffic reports on Star.
I'm sure Jagger being there had something to do with it.

BTW: Anyone remember listening to Mark when he was "Mark Hansen" on HitRadio93 in LA? I got a tape somwhere that his him voicing one of the spots on that station.

Dancin' Mark Hanson! I may have some tape from X-100 SF as well! He was there about the time Chuck Geiger was around. Too funny!
