if u can't handle it then go somewhere else where u can talk about random crap & leave the sports talk to people who actually know sports.

If they leave the sports talk to people who actually know sports then 95% of the Fan on-air staff would be gone.

All the sport talk on Jagger is about to push me me away for good and force me to remove that preset. It's sad that 105.3 has left ME, I did not leave THEM.

I deleted that preset the day they took the RMS off the air. I have tuned in exactly three times since then. One was for a Cowboy game (since it was the only way to hear the game) and the other two times, I tuned in for about 3 to 5 seconds and then changed the station.

The 'fail' lost a lot of their listeners a LOOOONG time ago. You should have seen the Myspace pages of the Jagger crew when the RMS was taken off the air. Hundreds if not thousands of messages from people saying things like "Hope you enjoyed the ride while it lasted, without Russ, you have no station and thus, no listeners. All I've seen since the RMS removal has shown that the ratings tanked without Russ.

I hope that Jagger leaves 105 for 1360. I really miss having an adult talk station like back in the day with O&A, Stern, P&K, etc.

"adult talk station ..." (italics added)

adult?

You're kidding, aren't you?

Don't you mean LCD?

I've stopped listening to Jagger at the office for almost two months after his show had gone ridiculously all over the place. Yesterday, I tuned in a few times for a few seconds... so is Jagger pretty much a "sports" show now?? Each time I listened they were talking sports (which they do awfully and painfully, btw) so I would quicky change the station. I never listened to Jagger for sports and never will. I'm sure once they've been released by the Fan, Jagger will say he was forced to talk sports, much the same way P&K said they were forced to promote NASCAR. I wonder how many listeners Jagger has lost. I know of three in my office.

I, for the most part, stopped listening to Jagger since they changed the show. However, I still had my alarm clock set to go off @ 6AM on 105.3. Monday morning when the alarm went off and I woke to Jagger and his "crew" talking Cowboys I decided to go with the buzzer feature going forward.

If I was actually ever awake between 6 and 10 I probably would still listen a little bit.

But now I found The Rational Radio Report on 1360 am and I gotta say I enjoy hearing political talk in the morning over Jagger and his crew.

makes me sad

I don't know if I have become a radio nomad or if I suffer from multiple personality disorder but yesterday while at the office I listened to Mark Davis, Rush Limbaugh, Pugs & Kelly and Richard Hunter. I also mixed in a litlle dance music and 80's new wave.

That's funny because that's (1360 AM) what I listen to in the office now too. I never thought I'ld listen to AM Radio ever. But first it was the two hours Dick hunter was on, then 3 more hours when P&K are on, and now that Jagger sucks, when I get to the office and turn my satellite off in the car, I listen to Jack Bishop's show till 9AM. P&K were never my favorites, but I've grown to like them. And I would still rather listen to "talk" then sports.

On the P&K show... JD's Sports Minute in Thirty Seconds is all the daily sports coverage I need. btw - is anyone else having trouble streaming the audio of P&K or BDH?

I agree. I quit listening to Jagger a couple weeks ago. I was a faithful listener for years since he started at The Edge but I have had enough. If I wanted to hear sports talk I would listen to one of the two sports stations in D/FW (The Ticket or ESPN). The show is not entertaining, the crew seems like they are just mailing it in and Jagger is acting like a total a$$ to what little callers they have. I am willling to bet that most of their fan texts or instant feedbacks are written ahead of time and are not sent in by listeners. The rest of the day is unlistenable. I imagine they will flip formats around the first of they year.

I agree as far as sports talk goes Jagger blows. It's excruciating listening to him & his crew trying to talk sports. He actually complained the other day about college football because there were too many teams to keep track of. I mean c'mon that's what's called doing your homework, if u can't handle it then go somewhere else where u can talk about random crap & leave the sports talk to people who actually know sports.

Well, Jagger never did sign up on 105.3 for sports... : )

There's something screwy going on up there alright Jeff.

You got Conservative crazies(Davis is fine, Limbaugh....uhh), and Progressive Crazies(P&K/Hunter crazy is a good way). And music all wrapped up in a neat little package.

KLIF 570 used to have a moderate in the mornings (McCarthy), a liberal during midday (Sanders), and a conservative in afterenoon (Gold).... it was good lineup! Then Mark Davis popped up on WBAP 820 and KLIF crapped the bed ratings wise.
