Man, not to demean the above quote, but for me it's also about tracking down a friend FINALLY after a lot of searching to realize he was only an hour away, but now he's in Minnesota.
How do I get this nail out of my foot Jake?
 
Aaron and I were joined at the hip. We were best friends. One afternoon Aaron and I were doing goofy things that goofy kids do and pretending to step on a BIG nail. We would kick it over before we stepped on it. NNNNOOOO not Aaron. He STOMPS on the upright nail and it goes ALL THE WAY THROUGH HIS FOOT. I know that he needed tetnus shots after that (and a mental exam later in life).

I have told that story for 30 years or more. We must have been about 10.

Jake left out one important detail - after I stepped on it and was crying my eyes out, he grabbed my leg, lifted my foot up and YANKED that nail out! There was blood everywhere! Yep, about 10 yoa, I would say.
**My wife makes me use glue to build/repair things in the house :)

by the way Jake, I tuned in on your debut at KTIS - awesome job brother!

BTW, you must be a huge fan of Jake being that the only two posts you've made have been about him...either you know him really well and like to promote him or you are a creepy stalker type person. ;D

So Jake, you have been moved from the 7PM slot? What is the "PM" drive time? (I can only get you streaming from the KTIS site, as you know, since I am in Ohio.)

KTIS updated their website so I now know when Jake is on the air. We should start a campaign of some sort to get XM Satellite Radio to include KTIS, then we could all listen without sitting at a computer, eh?

It had been a couple minutes since anyone had written about how much we miss Jake on this board so I thought I would post to bump the topic to keep celebrating the service that WCVO used to enjoy with good guy and pal, Jake...Word has it that Jake will continue to move north and eventually replace Santa...yeah, he's that swell...WE MISS YOU JAKE!!!!
