James Loftus Named GM Of KAPP-KVEW Yakima

Sales management is fine. Seems to this viewer they need programming/news management as well. Number 3 in the market for years.

It's always surprised me how Yakima-Tri Cities has retained Market 122, above much more viable locations with more population density, and influence. For example: Yakima T-C is a higher market than Salinas-Monterey, where many wealthy tech workers and execs from Silicone Valley have moved. Same with Chico-Redding being lower than Yaki-scratch. Chico-Redding has become quite the place where young families with money want to move. Only reason to live in Yakima or Tri Cities is: Inherited your family apple orchard, you're a crack addict looking for easy supply, or you work at Hanford doing government-funded cleanup.

It is funny how our teen antics never die. It is actually healthy and keeps our spirit alive. Somewhat parallel careers but always with humor and a sense of we did the best we could.
