Jamie Simpson, Chief Meteorologist for WHIO TV and the Dayton Cox radio stations (WHIO AM & FM, K99.1 and The Eagle) was injured in a one car crash today. Apparently he ran a stop sign, veered off of the road and hit a tree. His injures have been described as non life threatening. At the moment he's facing a misdemeanor charge of OVI. He was alone in the car at the time of the crash, no other vehicles were involved and no other people were injured. He is in the hospital, no definite time for his release yet. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
