I will say that with the Bill Handel incident, which I did hear live and uncensored (the internet feed at the time didn't use the dump button) Jamie was well justified in her confrontation with Bill Handel. A lot of people were not aware that Jamie had put up with Handel's daughters previously bothering her morning show phone screener, Monica Medina. They would come over from Bill's studio (on another floor in the building) and ask for candy while Monica was trying to answer the phone calls coming into the show. Jamie had asked the management at Clear Channel to talk to Bill. Bill had even apologized to her and assured her it wouldn't happen again.
On the December morning that will be remembered by Jamie, Jack and Stench listeners as the last time Clear Channel had them on the air, Handel's daughters burst into the KYSR studio while they were doing what the industry calls doing cuts. Cuts for people who don't know what they are, are separating audio tracks for different times during the show when the hosts want to play recording of things such as audio from The View or Tonight Show for example. The show wasn't on the air yet as it was before 5:30AM. They asked for CD's (you'd think Bill would have bought anything they would want) and were told they could not be in the studio and legally could not receive CD's from the producer and board operator. They then came back later while the Jamie, Jack, and Stench show was on the air, once again asking for things from Monica Medina. At that point, Jamie opened the studio door and held a plastic flute, pointing it at Handel's daughters and told them they couldn't be there.
Bill stormed up onto the floor and was pacing back and forth waiting for a station break to talk to Jamie. She saw him but had no idea that he was about to go off on her so she opened the studio door figuring he would be reasonable so she didn't wait for the commercial break. That turned out to be a bad call for her. Bill actually physically shoved the morning producer when he was in the studio, which actually kept Clear Channel from letting him go when they fired Jamie, Jack, and Mike aka Stench. They didn't want to get sued so they didn't let him go until a year later when the statute of limitations ran out for a lawsuit.
This was actually one of the few times Jaime wasn't being aggressive without a reason.
