I just heard the Jamie White program for the first time. Does anyone know how this show is doing? Maybe it's just me, but the show was terrible. Is this the best that Sacramento morning radio can do--get cruder, louder, and more obnoxious?
 
I've listened to that show a few times. The show is garbage. She talks and sounds obnoxious 99% of the show, then play one or two songs in between, and then talk again. She is horrible!!!
 
It's the most un-entertaining morning show I've ever heard on 106.5 in 15 years of listening (although I don't listen much anymore). I should probably remove the station from my presets. :'(

My question is whether listeners know she's not even in Sacramento (it's live from Denver, if you didn't), as I don't believe Jamie has revealed this to her listeners. The few times I've tuned in, Andy Hawk was on with the others to give the impression they are all in the same room. It's funny though, since the mike levels are almost always off and Andy's 'local' presence is fairly obvious.

Not to mention the half-second satellite drops and flicks littered throughout her program.
 
Okay, so it's not just my opinion. That's interesting that the show is a network feed because that was my first impression. However, I then thought it was just a poorly produced local show after I heard White ID the station.

I'm surprised that the station can't do better than that. The program seems to be a race to the bottom, IMHO...
 
Jamie White is Awesome on her morning show! For anyone who has followed Jamie, you know she is rude and crude but that is what makes her so entertaining! Her morning show consists of her, her gay producer-Ryan Beaman, Hope and Andy. They are great together-if you dont like them, move on to another station...

I have moved on to a different station. Seriously, my original question was how the show was doing, mostly in ratings....

Honestly never understood her appeal when she was on Star 98.7 here in LA. When she arrived in the Southland it was as a member of a 3 person team, Jamie, Frank & Frosty. After a year or so CC canned Frosty & Frank and paired Jamie with Danny Bonaduce. Jamie hated DB and after several years he was sent packing because he was having difficulty with his sobriety.

Jamie is loud, obnoxious and incredibly narcissistic. She would regularly get into shouting matches with KFI's afternoon team over the parking space she shared with one of them. And then there was the blow-up with KFI morning host Bill Handel.
At a certain point CC felt that she wasn't worth the reported 1 million dollars they were paying her annually. She's a few tacos short of a combo plate, but that's just my opinion.

No one uses satellite anymore. The hookup of choice now is ISDN.

I'm glad you like her show. I'm glad you're entertained to her rudeness and slandering. I'm glad you like a show that brings no ratings. I'm glad you're the only person that listens to her show because we don't listen to sarcasm and nasty rants.

So that's why Danny had to drink! Working with Jamie would do it! If I was forced to listen for any length of time, I would need a drink too! ;D
