To close the loop from my viewpoint....
My trip moved on to Orlando the day before Easter for a business conference. High-rise steel/concrete hotel with substantial electrical noise, so not exactly conducive for DX. I did, however get a chance to step outside to a courtyard are briefly a couple of times to check things out. The noisemaker on 730 was moderate to strong evenings, but totally absent during the daytime (as were the other Cubans).
(Sidebar note for David....I had a very good radio in my rental car, which rendered WAQI as easily the best Miami daytime signal. Relatively static free and very listenable. WQAM was a distant runner up in second place....with moderate splatter from second adjacents WFLF and WDBO. This was about 20 miles southwest of downtown Orlando. Also a good nighttime path to Mexico each evening with XEQ, XEG, and XEEP among those blasting in.)
Anyway, my last stop was in Memphis Friday night. Local or semi-local sports talker on 730 had a weak nighttime signal at my location in the Mississippi suburbs south of the airport. Very easy to null, but no trace of the noisemaker.
