I am so sorry to report that longtime Sacramento broadcast engineer Dave Fortenberry, who posted on this board as JammerDave, passed away last night.

I don’t know anything beyond that, but will post more as it comes.

My last desk at KFBK was directly across from engineering and Dave and I chatted daily. Great guy and a big loss.

This is a real shocker. He just posted something on Tuesday right on this board.

I remember Dave fondly during my time there in the 90's.

No idea. As Michael Rivers Kramer said, he posted to this board on Tuesday. So far, all the family and industry social media posts just say "passed away". No cause discussed.

Finally got word from a close friend. Dave had a heart attack at home on January 4 and passed on January 7.
