Jammin 101.5 question.

The hosts on jammin 101.5 consist of Kendall b from 5 to 10 am Deanna from 3 to 7 pm and slim 7-11 pm on weekdays. So from 10 am to 2:59 pm is there no host and also on weekends no hosts? I don't think there is anyone working in the building during the weekends period. Is it just all preprogrammed music on weekends? Why wouldn't they run some sort of syndicated show on the weekends at least? Larry Ulibari and Kathy J use to host a morning show on kjhm in 2018 that would be re broadcast throughout the day but they weren't retained. So If this is the case I think it is rude to their listeners to just put on pre programmed music every weekend and during a big part of the day. They don't really have any specialized shows either no morning show per say just kendall b talking once every 10 or 15 minutes hardly any giveaways what's the incentive for people to even listen to this station other than in a grocery store for background music filler. They have an opportunity to do something great with jammin 101.5 like wrks in new york did with the format of classic r&B and they are wasting an opportunity. Max Media apparently thinks the station is not worth putting a lot of money into and hiring new talent and having entertaining shows and programming for.

holy mother of.......run on paragraph without proper formatting or knowing how to form a proper paragraph. this conglomeration could've probably been less painful to read if you formed it into 3 or so paragraphs

There are so many things wrong with this "sentence" ... Don't want to be the grammar cop, but really, just taking the time to look over what you've written before hitting "Post reply" would almost certainly bring the problems that are so glaring to readers to your attention. Apologies if English is not your first language, or if you have a disability that affects your use of a computer keyboard.

In case you're curious, the passage quoted should be three sentences. Those sentences should end with "input.", "write?", and "paragraphed." The word "ill" should be "I'll," capitalized and containing an apostrophe.

Well...KJ Bland just left middays on Jammin’ to head back to her hometown of Louisville, so there’s that...

Weekends are largely voicetracked, with a locally based mixshow on Saturday nights (last I knew, unless that changed). If Max had a larger budget, I’m sure they’d like to get a couple of live staffers in the building for weekends. As to your programming critiques, like weekends, lack of syndicated shows, etc....I’m sure the new PD knows what they’re doing. I don’t think they’re scoping this board seeking input.

Also, Jammin’ may be similar format-wise to ‘RKS, but nowhere near close to the same signal/ratings strength they had. As much as I love the format/station, that rimshot will be stuck below a 3 share (12+), no matter what hosts are on there. (Max has made it fairly profitable and decently/strongly rated targeting key demos given their circumstances...if they didn’t, they would’ve flipped it years ago.)

As for giveaways or incentives...a pandemic is still among us. Ad revenue hasn’t completely rebounded to pre-pandemic levels to where companies can spend it on larger than life prizes (which was already starting to shrink over the last 10ish years).

(And yes, before you post, look it over and use proper punctuation and spacing Long ramblings are not a good look.)

Thanks for the advice, I do not assume the pds are reading these boards I simply thought since I had something to contribute on this subject that I should. My motivation for posting isn't because I think somebody important at max media will read it.
