Jammin 105.9 changing over to hip hop?

That is true, I doubt Clear Channel is looking to put alot of effort into this. They do play the same songs over and over again, but I guess they see it as any ratings they can take out of Hot 93.3 during that time slot is a bonus for them. I wonder though what people think of this changing from one format to another on a daily basis. I would think that would turn some people off of the station completely while others may get used to it, I still think its kinda strange.

Back in the 90's when KSJL was on the 96.1 frq here in San Antonio they used to do that.

During the day it would be Urban A/C and then at night they would play Hip Hop. Back then that was the only outlet for Hip Hop in San Antonio.

I remember those days...96.1 KSJL was a great station! There wasn't alot of repeated music, the DJ'S didn't get on your nerves, and mix shows were excellent also. Too bad it's gone. I wish 105.9 would do something similar to what 96.1 used to do.

Yeah, KAZI does play some urban ac during the day, but you have to catch them at the right times and on the right days. I live in Round Rock and the reception isn't the best out here either.
