Jammin 94.1

More 80s and some early 90s stuff on there now. Did hear New Order and Depeche Mode on the saturday night mix at the Bhonam...hmm. Does anyone notice the changes? My suggestion is to get rid of ALL Bee Gees and KC and the Sunshine Band crap. And play other Rick james songs besides Superfreak, such as Ghetto Life and Mary Jane.

Guess that explains why Jammin' sponsored the Devo concert back in September. They're adding New Wave to the Jammin' Oldies.

IMO, much of Rick James' music is a sexist turnoff. You won't hear his back catalog played in much depth on a station that targets women.

Fire and Desire....oooh baby!

When I was reading another board, it struck me that the addition of New Wave to the format at 94.1 might mean the station is migrating over to a format that's more like Movin'. Either that or it's shoring up its flanks in anticipation of a competitor bringing Movin' to town?

a "movin" type format would probably be more appropriate for SA. Or maybe they could model the station after Diava 92.3 in New Orleans...they have some real good contemporary R&B music they mix in that isn't dirty. We sure could use some "cleaner" stations in this city.

Whut Choo talkin'bout Willis? Radio prowgrams to the LOWEST commun deznominator :D

I spent most of the workday today listening to Jammin'. The spots on there made it very clear that this station targets women. I think they played a spot for an ovulation predictor kit 2x/hour all day. :D
