Jammin 94.7 in Odessa - Midland

Just heard the station it's old and new . When did this station go on air. Plus I bet it's all voicetracked. Anythoughts west Texas . How's has the best staions . Odessa Lubbock Amarillo abeliene or San Angelo. Give me ur thoughts folks . I thank Odessa used to ne good when we had wild kiss b composition. And also 95x. Bob fm really sucks they need something really different. Spanish staions suck to. 101.3 needs to go back to la mirra la mire a they played English and Spanish and rap hits. Kiss sound good. Bit I think could work on more jingles . And voice guy to. B sound good to. Country to much.

Two things you really need that could help you out Tony:

1) Spellcheck
2) The FCC AM/FM Query

A quick perusal of the latter shows no such station for Midland/Odessa.

There is however, KIXY-FM at 94.7 in San Angelo.

What little application info the FCC has online for it suggests it's been around for at least 30 years or more.

So Jammin Oldies or Rhythmic AC I guess.

I guess I'm saying is that class A stations were intended to serve one community and the immediate surrounding area. They do not have the coverage to adequately serve an elongated market that stretches from Monahans to Big Spring. Consequently KTXO may never do well in the ratings because it doesn't reach as many potential listeners in the market to start with.
