Jam'n 94.5 and Hot 106

With the transmitter problem fixed, once again Jam'n 94.5 has more signal coverage in Rhode Island than Hot 106. Not only can Jam'n be heard loud and clear in Johnston and Providence where Hot 106 fades in and out, but Jam'n is also clear right down to Exeter where Hot is getting chopped up by Soft Rock 106.5 WBMW. Citidel should simulcast Hot 106 on 99.7 so they have coverage in the southern part of the state. As far as reception in the Johnston and Providence area, they should make the 106.3 signal directional toward Providence. <P ID="signature">______________

Well whatever but they should do something with 99.7.Rock and country were rumored.I think one country station in the market is enough and no one can successfull go against HJY with rock. There's an abundance of classic hits in the area now.Regardless,no one listens to The Score. It has to be said.Corporate radio has allowed failed stations to remain on the air because others in the cluster keep them on life support but if you equate this to other businesses like retail or restaurant it's ridiculous that a station with nonexistent listeners can stay afloat because others keep them going.I can see this happening with the WCTK/WLKW/WNBH situation because the AM actually does serve a purpose playing a combination of softer ac and oldies in two markets but WSKO is just taking up FM space.
