JAMN 945 KISS 108 AND AMP

Im getting so sick these stations there all playing the same music. JAMN doesn't even play hip hop anymore they need to go more urban or one of these stations will have to change formats my guess is that it will be Jamn. What do u guys think.

Cookie cutter radio my friend. Rinse, lather and repeat. Jam'n has NEVER been about the urban audience and never will be. Sucks, but it's the truth. You want REAL urban music? Travel 90 min down I-84 into CT and give the AWESOME Hot 93.7 WZMX a listen and you'll forget about how much Jam'n sucks in 2 seconds. Hot 93.7 is a great station..

You would think that if Jamn’s rating continue to drop and AMP’s continue to increase, that eventually CC would make some adjustments or tweak Jamn’s format.

Thats true it can get annoying having three Top 40# stations in Boston, I don't see how AMP can compete with Kiss 108 and Jam'n, just because kiss 108 and Jam'n have DJ's and AMP Radio does not have any DJ's, their just on an automation. But it is for ratings and CBS Radio wanted to create a Top 40/Rhythmic/Hip Hop format to compete with Jam'n and Kiss 108.

I think Amp does a better job with the music selection then Jam'n or Kiss does. I heard more hip hop on Amp then I would on either of the other two. Plus Amp leans rhythmic, it's almost like WKTU

Heard a promo on JAMN today calling JAMN 94-5 and KISS 108 "Boston's Killer Combo." Strange, because Kiss 108 is usually rarely mentioned on JAMN. They must feel somewhat threatened by AMP Radio.

Ha! The "Killer combo" that shares 90% of the same playlist..what a joke.

Ha! I know huge ratings and revenue! Man, that's hilarious. It's working....

The Oct ratings for Boston were posted yesterday and both WODS and WBMX were up, while Kiss 108 dropped quite a bit, but of course still in first place.
