I listen to this station online at work sometimes, but have never been to the Albany area to hear them. Hows their signal? Looks kinda weak to me.

About 10 years ago I picked it up on a car radio in Lee, Massachusetts in the parking lot of the Outlet Mall.
That's quite a memory you got there :D

Too bad my I have trouble remembering important things. Like back in high school (1996-2000) with Geometry and other stuff like that. But seriously back then I was impressed with the station. I lived (and still do) in the Hartford, CT market where at that time Urban Music was relegated to a 5KW AM station. (It would be March 2001 when Infinity flipped Jammin' Oldies formatted Z-93.7 to Hip-Hop HOT 93.7).

They're a class A signal transmitting from the big FM/TV site on the Heldebergs. It's a little removed from the city, but the signal is OK around the city. It's not the best A signal in the market, and with a couple of exceptions, it doesnt go far beyond the Albany market. Where Bramhall heard it was in a parking lot which has some pretty good elevation to it, and is line of sight. Most places in Berkshire County the signal is noisy at best. In downtown Albany the signal suffers from some multipath and noise, due to it's strength and location.
